 This document contains detailed instruction on how to install CRX using the default or custom installation process. 
 This document contains four major parts: 
  • Beginning the installation procedure, which is the same for standard and custom installation.
  • The standard installation procedure.
  • The custom installation procedure.
  • Finishing the installation procedure, which is the same for standard and custom installation.
 Installing CRX under UNIX 
 This guide covers only the installation on Windows computers. CRX comes with a UNIX installer that follows the same steps and offers the same options as the Windows installer. To start the UNIX installer, type “./” followed by the name of the installer. For example, type “./crx1-2-0-20060202-developer.sh”. 
 The installer uses the PATH environment variable to locate a suitable Java Virtual Machine for the installation. If the installer cannot locate the Virtual Machine, you can override the PATH setting by using the following command to start the installer: 
  
./[installer-sh] LAX_VM [path-to-Java-executable]
